Ichijouji: Chapter 3

SPECIAL AUTHORS NOTE: Now I feel like personally with this chapter a bit more substance is introduced and the semblance of some character development is beginning to come forth, so I would like to admit that's why it's taken much longer than anticipated to produce. I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed creating it. ^_^

For the past 4 years, my significant other and I have been engaged in what seems a never ending "roleplay"/shared story if you will. This is my retelling of that.

I am a serious writer and I've been trying to desperately come up with a way to re-tell this story in a different way that would allow me to share it with the rest of the world. The story is profound, complex, and at times emotionally eviscerating. It details a facet of myself that is essential to my overall person and has forced me to answer many life-altering questions through my young adulthood. But ultimately, I've decided to sacrifice the potential of ever being able to actually publish for the sake of telling it the way it should be told.

This story covers my version of Ken Ichijouji's life post-season 2 (completely ignoring the last episode as most good sensed, digi-fans know well to do).

IMPORTANT NOTE: This story is for mature readers only. Although not exceptionally graphic, it has elements of homo-eroticism, plenty of sex, personal identity crisis, extremely questionable morality, and very dark themes which frankly will most likely be over the heads of much younger readers anyway. All of the other digi-destined will be present in this story at times, but it heavily focuses on Ken, thus the name.

ALSO: I am not a Japanese cultural expert by any means of the label, so I won't even pretend to be for the sake of not offending anyone who is. I apologize for this, as I would like to "do it right" but unless I can get it all right, I'm not going to serve something half-baked. I hope readers can look past this rather minor detail to appreciate the bigger story behind it.
